In order for a team to qualify for the classic on October 3rd and 4th a team must fish ANY 6 (six) tournaments preceding the classic. ALL tournaments count as classic qualifying tournaments; however, no points are earned in open tournaments. Points are earned in point tournaments only.
Any team that wishes to reduce their number of required tournaments to qualify for the classic from 6 to 5 can do so by paying an extra $10 in club dues. ($40 per person, $80 per team, instead of $30 per person, $60 per team). Club dues are required before any team can fish a points tournament and at the time the dues are paid the choice to make this election must be made.
