TEAMS MUST ASK FOR RULES BEFORE FISHING
1. Entry fee is $50.00 per boat (1 or 2 persons) Payback: $40 payback per entry, $5 big fish, $5 classic fund. No more than 2 people per boat, no exceptions. Only one boat per team.
2. PAYBACK FOR TOURNAMENTS: 1-5 boats (1 place) 6-10 boats (2 places) 11-19 boats (3 places) 20+ (4 places)
3. All lake rules will be followed including areas of water marked off limits and no fishing.
4. CREEL LIMIT will be five (5) bass; largemouth, smallmouth and Kentucky bass only.
5. SIZE LIMITS will be: 12" minimum on all bass, largemouth, smallmouth, and KY (spotted) bass
6. At least one bass from each creel will be measured: mouth closed and touching vertical end of golden rule, the tail may be fanned to reach the minimum size limit. Any fish that appears mutilated or altered in any way will be thrown out by the tournament director. Upon request, a courtesy check will be given for any fish that may be in question.
7. There will be a .13 lb. penalty for each dead bass.
8. LIFE JACKETS must be worn while the big engine (outboard) is running. The driver should have the engine kill switch clipped to their jacket.
9. One person can fish alone; however, it is recommended that two people fish together for safety reasons especially in the cold months. NO MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE PER BOAT, NO EXCEPTIONS.
10. Artificial bait ONLY.........(pork rinds permitted)
11. No trolling allowed, use only one rod at a time: maximum rod length is 8 ft.
12. Starting position will be determined by random draw of numbered chips. THESE CHIPS MUST BE TURNED BACK IN BY TOURNAMENT END. (FOR EXAMPLE) A TOURNAMENT ENDING AT 3:00PM, THE CHIP MUST BE BACK AT THE DESIGNATED SPOT BY 3:00PM. FAILURE TO RETURN CHIP BY DESIGNATED TIME WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION, NO EXCEPTIONS!
13. All fish brought to the scale will be caught from a boat by tournament participants on tournament waters during tournament hours. Furthermore, both members of a team will fish from the same boat and the culling of fish will take place on the lake outside of the buoys of the launching ramp for that particular tournament.
14.. Livewell checks may be made at random tournaments.
15. ANY WINNERS at any Green River Bass Club tournament, including the Classic, may be subject to a polygraph test. Failure of a polygraph test will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any and all winnings. In addition, in adherence to the rules of the Green River Bass Club, any participant that fails a polygraph exam will forfeit his/her winnings and have no recourse against any Green River Bass Club member, tournament official, or Green River Bass Club sponsor.
16.. All disputes will be settled by a majority vote of the members present at the particular tournament in question.
I have read and understand the rules of the Green River Bass Club and agree to abide by the rules. Furthermore, I understand fishing is a privilege and will not hold anyone associated with Green River Bass Club events, including their sponsors, responsible in any claim of accident or injury.
